La Dordogne or 'La douce France'

The Dordogne or Périgord -referred to by Henry Miller as 'the Paradise of the French'- is synonymous with traditions dating from prehistoric times.
A drive through the Dordogne is like taking a trip in time; castles and picturesque towns and villages nest in beautiful countryside. Here people still have time for each other.

Not far from the many tourist 'treasures' like Lascaux, the Vézère River, the Dordogne Valley, Sarlat, Bergerac and St Emilion lies the tranquil village of Badefols d'Ans. In the centre of this typical Dordogne village you will find 'FLEUR' .
